Smartec Components Partner with Danfoss Plus+1®
Implementing a drive-by-wire system that reduces operator fatigue and enables remote control when necessary just got a lot easier. Hydro-Gear has announced that its Smartec components are now Danfoss Plus+1® compatible. The company's electronically actuated pumps, traction drives, and controllers are now certified to integrate seamlessly within the Danfoss Plus+1® environment.
This means Smartec components can be easily connected to a Plus+1® controller or system without requiring complex custom programming. Pre-validated software blocks simplify the process and can even optimize the controls to gain overall system efficiencies that can lead to reduced fuel or battery use.
"As these products find their way into more and more mobile and industrial applications, it has become essential that we make integration simple so our OEM and distribution partners can move quickly from concept to production," explained Dan Davis, Customer Service Manager.
