Job Description Summary

Responsible for safely machining large volumes of parts according to Hydro-Gear specifications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and cleaning on assigned machines
  • Proficient in machining at least one product group
  • Safely perform machining operations as outlined in Standard Work, Work Instructions, On-the-Job Training, or other documentation
  • Perform Quality checks and processes as outlined in Standard Work, Work Instructions, On-the-Job Training, or other documentation
  • Safely contribute in meeting Hydro-Gear’s goals and metrics
  • Maintain accurate records as required
  • Effectively and proactively communicate safety, quality, and productivity issues to appropriate personnel
  • Follow Hydro-Gear policies, procedures, work instructions, and other documentation
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Hydro-Gear’s processes

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
