A. Available first day of active service. Employee premiums are approximately 12% of Annual Health Care Cost. Major medical coverage, preferred provider network, emergency accident benefit, dental plan and three tiers of prescription plan coverage. Details are included in the health plan booklet.

A. To encourage job-related self-improvement in an employee's spare time, Hydro-Gear offers a tuition reimbursement program. Up to 100% of tuition costs may be reimbursed to the employee.

Bonus Plan Performance - Full-time hourly non-exempt Hydro-Gear personnel are eligible for the monthly factory performance metric based bonus and a discretionary bi-annual factory bonus, after a six month waiting period. Salaried Production Supervisors, Maintenance Team Leaders, and Machine Shop Team Leaders are eligible for the monthly factory performance metric based bonus and are eligible for the discretionary bi-annual factory bonus, after a six month waiting period.
Other Salaried Exempt and Other Salaried Non-Exempt classified personnel are eligible to receive a discretionary performance based bonus which is issued two times per year.
Proto-Tykes Daycare - Hydro-Gear offers childcare for full-time employees' dependent children ages 6 weeks to 6 years at "Proto-Tykes" Daycare located at Agri-Fab, Sullivan, IL. Payment for this service is made through payroll deduction. If you meet the requirements set forth in Section 129(a) of the Internal Revenue Code, your payment may be tax free.
Holidays - Ten paid holidays, based onemployee’s standard assigned work schedule. The holidays are New Years, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Good Friday, Labor Day, Christmas, and Memorial Day.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - Employees and their covered dependents are eligible to utilize unlimited phone consultation services through the EAP provider. Confidential counseling services can be for issues including, but not limited to, marital problems, stress management, drug and alcohol abuse, financial guidance, conflict in the workplace, and depression.
