HGB parking brakes are of internal drum design. These parking brakes are very effective static brakes and have some limited dynamic brake capabilities. HGB brakes are mounted on the HGM motors in several orientations. The brake actuation arm can be positioned in optional orientations for vehicle manufacture flexibility. Wheel hubs for the HGM motors are also available in 4-bolt and 5-bolt stud configurations that can be used with, or without, the brake assembly.
