What health and dental benefits are offered?

Available first day of active service. Employee premiums are 12% of Annual Health Care Cost. Major medical coverage, preferred provider network, emergency accident benefit, dental plan and three tiers of prescription plan coverage. Details are included in the health plan booklet.

Does Hydro-Gear offer a 401(k) program?

Eligibility Requirements for Employee Contributions:

  • 6 Months of Service

Eligibility Requirements for Employer Contributions:

  • 21 Years of Age
  • 12 Months of Service
  • 1,000 Hours of Service Per Year

What education benefits does Hydro-Gear offer?

To encourage job-related self-improvement in an employee's spare time, Hydro-Gear offers a tuition reimbursement program. Up to 100% of tuition costs may be reimbursed to the employee.

What other benefits do you offer?(Bonus Plan, Daycare, Holidays)

Bonus Plan

Performance-based bonuses are awarded monthly to full-time hourly non-exempt Hydro-Gear personnel based on performance metrics.

Proto-Tykes Daycare

Hydro-Gear offers childcare for full-time employees' dependent children ages 6 weeks to 6 years at "Proto-Tykes" Daycare located at Agri-Fab, Sullivan, IL. Payment for this service is made through payroll deduction. If you meet the requirements set forth in Section 129(a) of the Internal Revenue Code, your payment may be tax free.

Holidays

Ten paid holidays, based on Hydro-Gear's standard work day of nine (9) hours per day. The holidays are New Years, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Good Friday, Labor Day, Christmas, Memorial Day.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Employees and their covered dependents are eligible to utilize at no cost 10 hours per person per year of counseling services through the EAP provided by Hydro-Gear through the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. Confidential counseling services can be for issues including but not limited to marital problems, stress management, drug and alcohol abuse, conflict in the workplace, and depression.
