History

Hydro-Gear was created with a specific purpose in mind: to serve the needs of the lawn and garden industry.

In 1991, Sauer-Sundstrand (now Sauer-Danfoss) combined its hydrostatic knowledge with the market knowledge of Agri-Fab to create Hydro-Gear, a joint venture. From that time until now, Hydro-Gear has focused on providing the lawn and garden industry - both consumer and commercial markets - with world-class hydrostatic drive systems.
